Here are some

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What time are our services?

We meet on Sundays in person and online at 10:30am and typically last for around an hour and a half. We engage in worship together (often in both English and Spanish), read Scripture (in Spanish), listen to a teaching from God’s Word (with live in-ear Spanish translation), and end with a time for prayer and communion together. Kids ministries occur at the same time.

Show up a few minutes early so we can meet you!

  • Where do I park?

Our parking lot is in the back of the building with an entrance off of Oliver Street (a south-bound one-way street from Pontiac Street). You can also park on the street along Oliver or McKee streets.

Our front door is on McKee Street. We’ll see you there! 😀

  • What should I do with my kids?

Before the service, you can check in your kids at our check-in station in the children’s ministry hallway. It’s a few turns and a couple stairways, so just ask someone with a lanyard on and we’ll get you there. 😉

We have classes for birth through 5th grade. Learn more on our kids’ page!

  • What should I wear?

Our cultural diversity shows itself in our attire, too! Some come dressed to the nines, while others prefer to keep it much more casual. Whatever you’re comfortable with, we’d love to have you!

  • Where should I go when I walk in?

We have two Connection Centers! If you turn left and go down the stairs, you’ll find coffee, information, and all sorts of fun things. If you turn right and go up the stairs, you’ll head to the Sanctuary. In the back is the Connection Center with information, gifts, and our Spanish Translation table.

  • How is Spanish included in the service?

We have a lovely and significant Spanish-speaking community within our church family, and we celebrate that! Throughout the service, you’ll hear worship songs with verses sung in Spanish and both English and Spanish lyrics on the screens. We always read the day’s Scripture in Spanish before the teaching. Plus, we have live, in-ear Spanish translation during the sermon, made available through an app. You can bring your own headphones or borrow one of the pairs we have available.

  • How do I get more connected?

Check the calendar, join a group, serve on a ministry team, or hang out after the service at our monthly lunches.
